Upper
Hattons
About Us

|
|
I started
Upper Hattons
8 years ago. It was an
old derelict farm |
|
with approximately 10
stables and a few barns but with always |
|
having horse blood
running through my veins since childhood I was |
|
determined to turn
into the centre it is today. |

I began riding at a young age with my own ponies and
then |
|
progressed
onto horses. I then started to compete affiliated; I
have a |
|
lot of my
knowledge through the wonderful instruction of |
|
Carmen Lanni.Under
her instruction I backed youngsters that |
|
came over from Germany
which were then sold to competition |
|
yards. I have also
been very grateful over the years to have built up a |
|
great relationship
with Richard Maxwell and have been able to learn |
|
a great deal from him
– he visits us all here on a regular basis. |

I now
teach on the livery yard, break youngsters as well
as breed
|
|
Anglo
European stock. I also train problem horses and
still compete |
|
myself
with my own horses. I live and breathe for the
horses and the |
|
greatest pleasure I have is to see people happy –
then I know I have |
|
achieved my goal! |
